The Capitals have a glut of young forwards waiting in the wings. The Pens, as we all saw during the playoffs, are a young team that is not afraid to put rookies in big situations. He’ll likely start in the minors before becoming a bottom-six player for Pittsburgh.

Vesey sounds like a free top 10 pick based on the hype train. He's been listed as a top 15 prospect, but those lists cover multiple drafts.

I think since he's older he is far less risks and less potential. He sounds like a guy with a 50% shot at being Chris Kunitz and a 50% shot at being a mid-9 guy.

Which is worth about the tenth pick in the draft considering he's costs controlled and NHL ready.

Doesn't this make the Rangers the Stanley Cup Champions? Although it was the media that turned this into a circus, the constant chattering of people on here and other boards really became nauseating. I for one am glad this sideshow is over. Also, didn't the media make a circus of Kevin Hayes last year? Nobody even talks about him anymore.

Rangers is kind of an odd fit for Vesey. Not sure he's a top 6 guy there and I thought that was important to him. Nash, Zuccarello, Kreider, Miller with 3 of them natural lw.

Nice depth signing of Di Pauli. Definitely sounds like a Pens forward with the speed and grit. Nice that he can play center, maybe he'll battle Sundqvist for that call up spot.
